Mission weekend

Codename: Kids Next Door Mission Weekend, alternately known as Kids Next Door Mission Weekend, KND Mission Weekend, and Mission: Kids Next Door Weekend, was a 51-hour marathon that ran on Cartoon Network on August 8, 2003, to August 10, 2003. Although the main focus was on Codename: Kids Next Door, other Cartoon Cartoons shows such as Dexter's Laboratory, The Powerpuff Girls, Ed, Edd n Eddy, and Courage the Cowardly Dog were also heavily featured.

The main theme was that adults secretly plan to take over Cartoon Network, and the KND plan to save it by building a satellite to broadcast their own private network. During commercial breaks, the marathon aired special bumpers, featuring spliced together footage of Kids Next Door characters interacting with characters from the other shows for clues to build the satellite. Numbuh 1 stayed at the Treehouse, while Numbuhs 2, 3, 4 and 5 did the interacting in the other shows (2 in Dexter's Laboratory, 3 in Courage the Cowardly Dog, 4 in Ed, Edd n Eddy, and 5 in The Powerpuff Girls).

There is also a game tied to the marathon titled Operation: S.T.A.T., where viewers could use the clues they collected to find parts to help build a secret spy antenna. Players who play the game at the time can get top secret documents for the marathon and game, and become "honorary numbuhs" of the KND if they win the game.

A few audio promos during the credits also promoted new episodes of Codename: Kids Next Door that would premiere in October of that year.

There is little known footage of the event and the rest are considered lost. However Operation: S.T.A.T. is still around There are also articles on the Cartoon Network and Lost Media wikis, and 2 surviving ToonZone threads from August 8th and 9th.
