The Bobby Costume was used by the Interesting Twins From Beneath The Mountain in the episode Operation: R.E.C.R.U.I.T.. They used the costume and pretended to be a recruit for the Kids Next Door.
Plot[]
Using the Bobby costume, the ITFBTM sent countless videos to the KND, hoping to be recruited so they can infiltrate the KND and destroy it from the inside. While playing video games, a message appears on his computer. After a series of exchanges between the computer, the ITFBTM are told to go to an abandoned treehouse where he is given mission after mission after mission. After being attacked for the 3rd time, the ITFBTM took off their costume revealing who they really were, and said that it wasn't worth it, meaning, it wasn't worth all the trouble just to infiltrate the KND. After they leave, Sector V joke around and reveal that they knew it was the ITFBTM all along, although Numbuh 3 wasn't aware of that. However, when Numbuh 4 states they were dumb enough to believe what they told them, Numbuh 1 says the mission they were sent on was real.
Appearance[]
The Bobby costume has blue eyes and strawberry blonde hair, which mostly does not come into contact with his head, but rather sprouts from his part in a v-like shape. He wears a red sweatshirt, gray shorts, and white sneakers. During one of his missions, he is dressed in a cat costume which was pink with a red nose, blue tail, orange cheeks, and beige socks as sleeves.
Personality[]
As Bobby which got voiced by Scott Menville, the ITFDTM are very eager to please and enthusiastic. While filming their 38th video to send to the KND, they don't seem to mind the fact that the KND ignored all of their other videos. When he is in the abandoned treehouse, he seems overjoyed to be there. When he is given his missions, he seems thrilled and completes his mission bravely. He takes on the next missions without even a blink of an eye. However, after completing his 3rd mission, he seems exasperated and tired and that is when the ITFDTM reveal their identities.
Trivia[]
- The Bobby Costume used by the ITFBTM is similar to the disguise function of the Battle Ready Armor used by the Teen Ninjas.
- Even though Bobby is revealed at the end to be a disguise and not a real person, it's shown through the episode that he has actual parents with whom he lives: when he films his video, we hear his mother shouting at him; later, when he gets the message from KND on his computer in which they ask him to check what his parents are doing, he can tell they're washing the dishes; and finally, when the KND explain him for which purpose they recruited him, we see in an imaginary flashforward scene the characters of his parents (although from their backs). No explaination for that is ever given.
