Information[]
Summary[]
While the others have their day off, Numbuh 1 tries to rescue the ten-year-old accepted into college. He finds out that it was his own brain the Professor XXXL wanted: a test subject to his snow cones, since Numbuh 1 is immune to brain freeze.
Plot[]
The episode opens with Sector V getting ready to go to the beach while Numbuh 1 finds out that a college has accepted a 10-year old kid and he suspects that the adults there want to take his brain. As everyone is ready the alarm goes off and everyone is disappointed. Numbuh 1 tells the team to get ready and what he has learned but Numbuh 5 says today is their day off and they are not going to waste it by saving some kid from college. The rest of the team also wants to spend the day at the beach so they don't go with Numbuh 1 after a long argument. Upon arriving, Numbuh 1 manages to sneak onto the campus and past all the teachers but after being capture he finds Professor XXXL and his plans backfire. Rather than stealing his brain, the professor reveals that he really only needed Nigel to test his snowcones. He couldn't do it himself because he is prone to brain freeze, which Numbuh 1 happens to be immune to. After tasting various snowcones without the intended result, he gives him the last flavor. Numbuh 1 does taste it but immediately the other Kids Next Door "rescue" him. Unfortunately Numbuh 1 gets severely hurt and despite his pleas his teammates think he has lost his brain and they are not quitting In the end Sector V escapes The doctor laments his loss. At the beach, the others wonder why Numbuh 1 is so depressed and just avoiding them. They dismiss it as nothing as he'll thank them, while Nigel says, "Those idiots, that last snowcone was perfect..."
